So it seems that the media world hasn't given Elon Musk enough attention again in the past week or two so he's decided to make a bit more noise and take the attention away from Twitter by renaming it X. It's a fascinating development and one which has been planned for sometime apparently, to align the network with the parent company.
Whether you're a fan of Elon or Twitter, you can't deny this was a great move to get everyone talking about his social network again and not Meta's. I actually like the boldness of it, I did make a joke on LinkedIn about it being ironic he's renamed the social media lots of people are deleting with the icon of the delete app button but fair play. Overall it has given it a fresh feel to it and we'll see if it helps people move on from the recent sagas - personally I can't see it being enough but if hype is anything to go by, he's won that battle this week.
See what you think and let me know.
Chris
