Lockdown Projects: New Website and Logo Refresh for Car Source

We recently completed a fantastic new website and logo refresh for car sourcing company, Car Source. The project was delivered completely remotely within a super-fast timescale, providing the client with the ability to take control of his new business during lockdown.

A computer , tablet , and phone are displaying a website for a car dealership.

Car Source is a Swansea-based car sourcing company, recently established by longtime car sales professional, Adrian Davies. He came to Digity looking for a new website, built completely from scratch; new design, new domain, new copy and a new booking form, as well as a logo refresh. The project from kick-off to completion was delivered remotely with most project contact taking place over video calls, meaning Adrian could discuss plans with us from his home in Wales.

We delivered:
  • New Duda Website
  • Copy
  • Logo Refresh
  • New Booking Form & Finance Application form
  • SEO
  • Dedicated Project Manager

We built a Duda site for Car Source as it enabled a fast turnaround whilst providing fantastic functionality and also allows the client to easily update content himself going forward. The design process began by refreshing his logo, which had a bright red and blue colour scheme. The client was looking for a more muted and sophisticated colour palette, so our designer introduced shades of grey and teal blue to the logo. This was then used as the colour scheme for the whole site, which aimed to break away from usually bright and harsh colour palettes of car sales websites to become something much more premium.

A tablet and a cell phone are sitting next to each other on a blue background.

The site had to be credible and engaging, so both the copy and the design were geared towards being simple, clear and professional, without being overly formal. All copy was SEO-optimised and placed strategically on the website to ensure users could access the information they needed to as quickly and easily as possible. As the client was offering a service designed to make his clients’ lives easier, it was important to us that the website process would be similarly simple and straightforward for them. So the site was kept uncluttered, with minimal pages and an easy-to-use application form to begin the car sourcing process. As the first point of contact between a new customer and our client, this form was designed to work seamlessly and include all necessary information.

Now both the client and his customers can have everything they need in one place, so our client can run his business with ease and his clients can enjoy a fantastic user experience designed to increase sales conversions. Check out the website
