Meet Matt - Our New Account Manager

Welcome our new Account Manager, Matt! Affable, organised and proactive, Matt is in charge of managing relationships with Digity’s clients. He has already built strong connections with our clients to understand their needs and Matt works closely with the rest of the Digity team in order to effectively deliver creative solutions.


Matt has the magic gift of being able to start a conversation with just about anyone - so he fits right into the Digity family already!


Matt has a background in Marketing, with a 2.1 degree in Advertising Management and Digital Media Communications. After graduating from university, he went on to work for a Global Radio Station, giving him exposure of working with key household brands such as McDonald’s, O2, and Warner Bros, just to name a few! He has also worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Toys R Us and an Entertainment Technology Distributor so has a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to the Digity team.

Matt McCallum Digity Account Manager

Matt is an adventurer and likes animals (specifically Otters ‘lots and lots of Otters’). In fact, Matt has travelled all around Europe, visiting 13 different cities so far! He has also experienced life down-under, having worked in New Zealand for a year whilst travelling.


In the future, Matt hopes to see the Northern Lights, learn another language and complete the Three Peaks Challenge - all of which we think are really impressive aspirations! When we asked him who his hero is, it was no great surprise that he said Sir David Attenborough ‘for everything he has done to educate people about animals and the planet. If anyone can save the world, it’s him!’ 


When he isn’t jet setting, Matt enjoys watching Rugby (he supports Wasps), going to the pub and playing video games. He also loves live music and frequently goes to gigs to see the likes of Elbow, Nothing But Thieves and Kasabian.

British Gift Box sell bespoke gift boxes for all kinds of special occasions. A focus of our work with them involved increasing site visits and conversions during key holidays, such as Christmas and Easter. However, coming just before Christmas, Black Friday posed the ideal opportunity to push sales directly before the Christmas period.


We launched successful competitions, email campaigns and social media campaigns to successfully drive sales during Black Friday. During our time working with BGB, their revenue has increased by 92% and conversion from cart to sale has increased by 82%.

By including videos on their Instagram feed, we created more engaging and visually interesting posts to fit the platform, whereby, customers could see the products in action. This successfully drove sales through their website.
