The Military Wives Choirs is a UK charity working to empower and support women in the British military community. With over 70 choirs and some 2000 members putting on both local and national events every year, Military Wives Choirs has established itself as a source of incredible talent as well as an important pillar of support for military wives, mothers, sisters, female veterans, and those women in active service. They were looking for a new website as their old Wordpress site was incredibly hard to update and provided a poor user journey and experience.

Visually-Engaging CMS Website to Support Growth

The MWC were in an exciting period of growth, being set to release the Lionsgate movie Military Wives, so needed a website able to cope with increased traffic.


We produced engaging SEO-optimised content, a clearer navigation, a simplified structure and a more professional design, with a CMS which would be easy to update. Our designers created a unique website design to match the colour scheme and branding of MWC.


Original graphics were also created to add more visual elements to the site and engage users.

The Results

The website was delivered completely remotely during the first UK lockdown and right in time to cope with the increased traffic from their movie release. The functionality of the site was greatly increased and the user experience for even the most technology-illiterate visitor was substantially improved. The MWC now have a future-proof site that can help them share their mission, fundraise, market their music, keep members updated, and recruit new choir members.
