The Secrets to Successful Lead Generation - Do you know your cost per lead?

On Friday 15th of November, we partnered up with Rob Pickering from ActionCOACH to share our experience and knowledge to a room full of business owners, talking about why having a lead generation strategy for your business is so important and secondly, how to implement it successfully - as not all leads are necessarily the leads you want. So you may be wondering… What is lead generation and why do you need it?


Lead generation is the process of creating initial customer interest in the products or services your business offers. Whether this be through calls, emails, demo requests, brochure downloads or other types of enquiry via your website. 


At the beginning of the event, attendees were asked what questions they currently have around digital marketing and the information they would like to gain from Digity and Rob Pickett. This activity confirmed our attendees were definitely there for all the right reasons. 


Our attendees gained knowledge on how to:

  • Analyse their current business situation
  • Discover who their customers are VS who they would like their customers to be
  • Define and communicate their business benefits
  • Successfully build trust with their customers
  • Understand their customer’s fears and concerns and use these to their advantage

  • Use the sales funnel to create an effective marketing journey
  • Plan their 12 month business strategy

We were thrilled that 100% of attendees scored 9 or 10 out of 10 for both presenters and the event overall (in fact 79% of the attendees rated the event as 10/10 for all aspects!).
