We’re delighted to welcome Isla as Digity’s new Designer!

A dedicated equestrian with a love of design, Isla formerly worked as an Information Governance Administrator for the NHS for four years. Whilst forming good relationships with her colleagues, Isla realised that her heart wasn’t really in the work itself and so chose to begin a different career.

Feeling inspired by equestrian champion Charlotte Dujardin, Isla decided to pursue her own passion for art and illustration by training to become a graphic designer. Having regularly practised and completed digital illustrations, she felt there was no time like the present to develop her skills and become a designer full-time.

This led Isla to complete several online courses as well as an Extended Diploma in Art & Design, all balanced alongside her former role and horse riding three times a week! Excitingly, this gave Isla the courage to apply for new opportunities, making us lucky enough to find and welcome her as our new Designer.

Isla has only been with us for a few weeks, but has already settled in as a wonderful addition to the team, getting stuck in–creating graphics for several of our clients, website editing, meeting with clients and much more. She even attended an important final meeting recently; ironing out the details with a client before the launch of their new website this month! It’s been quite an intense start in the middle of a busy month, but Isla has really hit the ground running.

Who is your dream client and why?

Longines because I have a passion for horses and the equestrian sport.

What is one word to describe you?

Open-minded.

What is your takeaway of choice?

Sushi.

What are three things still left on your bucket list?

Visiting Bali, owning my own horse and living abroad.

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose? and why?

Teleportation - because I'd love to visit destinations without needing the time to travel.
