New Website Launch for Glenside Commercial Interiors

Glenside Commercial Interiors are a leading commercial fit out company in Reading. As an existing client who we already worked with on growing their social media presence, developing email campaigns, as well as planning and creating content for both their website and social channels, they turned to us looking for advice and guidance on a new website, having seen good results from their marketing retainer with us.

Although Glenside’s website wasn’t very old, the business had seen substantial growth in the past couple of years to become one of the leading fit out companies in Berkshire. With lots of hidden pages, confusing navigation and little room for imagery, the website had become dated and unreflective of the brand and projects. They felt it was time for a new website that would support and reflect their business development.

Sitemap Development

We reviewed analytics of the current website pages to analyse how the existing site was performing, allowing us to gain an understanding of which pages were key. From this, we built an improved sitemap, which included some new pages, such as Hybrid Working, which were not featured on the current website but had become a popular offering since the pandemic.

Branding

For the new website, we emphasised the Glenside branding, which was not strong on the previous site. We evolved their existing logo and used it along with brand colours throughout the site. The branding is now very strong and consistent across all online, and offline spaces, even in the Glenside showroom, creating a cohesive and recognisable brand

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Glenside’s previous site was not ranking particularly well in the SERP, and the terms the site was ranking for were bringing in irrelevant traffic. We conducted a full SEO audit and optimised the new site’s on-page and off-page SEO to target relevant customers in both the local area and across the region. This included carrying out keyword research and using keywords in the copy, meta descriptions, image alt. text, menu titles and more. To continue to support this, we write monthly blogs, case studies of projects, and other material, such as brochures.

"Having worked with Digity for some time to build-up our digital marketing, the next challenge was to completely revamp our website and create an online home that showcased our work and business in a modern and fresh way. We are in a very visual market and it’s important to us to display our projects so that any visitors to the site can clearly see what we are capable of delivering.  We have also invested significantly in our physical showroom and wanted our new website to reflect the image we have created here and to inspire people to visit. Ahead of the design stage Digity helped us identify our key commercial goals and also analysed the SEO performance of the current website, identifying a number of areas of opportunity. The design process was certainly collaborative, which as a team of designers we really valued, leaving Digity to add their creativity and ensure all our objectives were hit. The feedback has been hugely positive both from our team and many of our key contacts and we're looking forward to continuing to evolve the site over time as we're sure it's a very good investment and will continue to move forward with our business."
